has surpassed ALL his physical therapy goals with his new private therapist
FIVE MONTHS EARLY.
Yep, he did them all in a month:
Pulling to stand - done.
Cruising - done.
Getting down by himself while standing -done.
All.Done.
Getting down by himself while standing -done.
All.Done.
I think he has decided enough is enough. His mind and body are catching up to one another, and it is absolutely amazing beyond words to be a part of.
Amazing.
This boy; this boy, who I was told would not breathe a moment of air on this earth...
HE is independent, and capable, and most definitely the most adorable four year old curly-haired boy ever.
...and, he'll walk like crazy along the couch for a diet coke...

Absolutely Amazing. Gives me chills seeing the pics.....what an incredible little miracle he is! How can anyone not believe in God? Just by watching little Deakon is amazing proof enough! Thanks for sharing him with all of us! Congrats on these milestones!
OMG, that is so great. And you should be proud...and you should "brag." If we didn't care about D and didn't want to hear these things, we wouldn't be reading. Congrats to you all!!! I know 1st hand it is a team effort!
LOVE HIM! It sounds like you have a great therapist, too. And love his parents and sister who help him so much. I love that you guys have such high expectations of him. B/C that's why he's doing so well. It's awful to think of those parents who buy into the crap doctors tell them about their kids not being able to do things and don't try!
So thankful you found a great therapist! He really IS beautiful.
