At one point this year I thought I may be lying on a beach somewhere in the Mexican Caribbean this week.
It didn't happen.
Today, I feel very sulky about it.
I feel very sulky about lots of stuff: house not selling, Deak's monster attitude (5 days and counting), my general feeling of tiredness which leads to no exercise, no Chromosome 18 conference, no Lagoon Passes...all of it.
I've tried to cheer myself up. I've been cooking fancy dinners and getting lots of good hitting tips while watching the College Girls Fastpitch Softball games...
But...they are not close to comparable to where I thought I could be this moment.
I need a break.
I really do.
I also need an attitude check.

My mom got some discount day passes to Lagoon for this year, only $25. We are seriously considering taking Em, and I know it would be more fun if you guys were there too. Let me know if you're interested.
Love the blog design, even if it is only wishful thinking. I wish I was in Mexico too, especially since my entire family is leaving for Puerta Vallarta on Friday. I'll be bummed with you!
A weekend getaway in Park City should help... only 2 1/2 weeks away. Then it's the 4th of July celebrations. Gee, sounds like the summer is half over already. I just need a beach getaway, don't care where but it's not in UT.
Come drop your kids off here, then find a pool to sit by, and read a book. Im so serious. We would love to have them come play.
Then a movie night with me??

Let's plan a weekend for you to come here! We can do nothing, but sit on the beach. I'll start looking for super cheap flights.
now then you...feel sulky by all means, for as long as you want, but promise me and all the people here that you'll take some of them up on offers to help and won't beat yourself up about feeling bad. It happens, you're human, and when you're ready to feel good and shiny again, then you know that you will. hugs from here, hope tomorrow's a better day x
