So, like every other parent in America, I have entered my kids' pictures in the Gap Casting Call Contest every year; only to be totally pissed off with Gap's apparent lack of clarity when defining beauty ...
Come on. You can't tell me that kid did not deserve to win.
Now - I am done. I am boycotting them, at least for a week. Feel free to join in. And, in honor of the true winner...I will post a few shots that just might make them cry in regret.

And he LOVES the camera.(*In the spirit of equal child loving, I attempted to get pictures of Abby. Those attempts were met with strong words and speedy exits. Equal opportunity was given.)

Your kids are so adorable. They totally should have won! I have also attempted the contests and to no avail. What a sham.
He wins first place in my eyes (I am guilty of doing the same thing...I once entered Andrew's picture in the Regis and Kelly kids contest and was totally bummed that he didn't make it - oh well...all that matters is that we think and we, as mom, think our kids are the most beautiful). I love reading your blog..it's so inspiring and I always end up in tears - thanks for all your wisdom and for sharing it (p.s. are you doing PECS with Deak?? If so..call me because I have a ton of pictures you can borrow if you need to). Good luck and you are the best mom ever.
